Just What is a 1031 Exchange?
- A 1031 Exchange or like-kind exchange is an extremely powerful tax deferred investment technique which allows you to defer paying capital gains texes by re-investing in one or more qualifying propteries.
We start by referring you to a Qualified Intermediary. We then recommend suitable replacement property investments, which can be either a property or a tenant-in-common (TIC) interest in a property. A TIC investment relieves investors of the day-to-day responsibilities of property management, such as maintenance and rent collection. The advantages are many.
